This was the scene at Schuler's Bookstore (the local independent we love!) during Debbie's book launch on Saturday. These pictures come from Ann and Tim, who were the on-hand paparazzi.
Debbie did a storytime where she not only read The Pout Pout Fish, but also a couple other books by Michigan authors. There were some great handouts for all ages, including some very cool fish masks.

And really, what's better than putting a book you wrote in the hands of a kid who seems thrilled to get it? Is there anything better than that? No, I don't think so. Congratulations, Debbie!
